Sheherazade Bodin
Sheherazade is a multi-disciplinary artist and filmmaker. She founded Blue Metaphor LTD an independent production company based in Bristol focussing on projects portraying social or cultural matters, making sure that misrepresented and under-represented communities feel heard and seen.
Sheherazade started her career as an Art Director and Communication Officer, leading teams of over 20 people for photography festivals. She studied theater and improvisation for four years back in France and moved to London in 2017 to further her film career as an actress, playing Mia in the multi-awarded “Your Eyes Know Better” directed by Mathias Falcone. She has since then been in many productions.
In 2021, she directed her first project, an experimental music video “White Bred Blues” for the band Ralph Of London, which is now becoming a documentary about homelessness in Bristol.
In 2023, she directed the short Ephemeral, which she wrote, produced, edited and in which she played the lead.
In 2024, she finished the first draft of Ephemeral, the feature. In 2025, she directed “Broken Bird”, a queer comedy about dating in your fifties as a disabled woman, supported by Bristol Pride, screened at The Cube and Watershed in Bristol. She is the executive producer of Aggie Nyagari-Salt next film, “Breathe Out”, set to filmed in the summer 2025 in Bristol.
Sheherazade has been involved in making the industry more inclusive and has been shortlisted for the Women in Business Awards 2025.
Director of Photography
laura van de hel
Originally from a small town in the south of France, Laura studied sciences and journalism & documentaries before moving to London to be a camera assistant for many years.
She worked her way up and is now a Director of Photography & Camera Operator represented by Vision.

She is a mentee at the ASC and a proud member of Sporasco & the ACO Associate.
Laura gives her best to achieve the director’s vision and enhance the performance & the environment the actors evolve in.
Her work on Aniccam in Cambodia have been selected on Nowness Asia and her first feature Hitmen have received great critics for her cinematography work.
She focuses on good narratives and engaging stories. It’s all about the script.

jerôme eltabet
Jérôme Eltabet is a French film editor known for his precise and emotionally charged storytelling, with a career spanning both feature films and television.
His most recent and acclaimed work is on The Substance (2024), a bold, body-horror film directed by Coralie Fargeat. In this project, Eltabet handled over 300 hours of raw footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, organizing entire sequences on a single timeline and meticulously selecting takes to enhance the film’s psychological tension and visceral impact.

His editing on The Substance has been widely praised for its structure and innovation, earning him nominations for the ACE Eddie Award and the British Film Editors Award.
Eltabet’s past credits include the cult revenge thriller Revenge (2017), and popular French TV series such as Hero Corp, Joséphine, ange gardien, and Samantha, oups!.

With a signature style rooted in clarity, emotional depth, and bold pacing, Eltabet continues to stand out as one of France’s most compelling editors in contemporary cinema.

noid studio
Noid is an independent post-production studio based in Paris, specializing in high-end visual effects (VFX) and computer-generated (CG) content for films and series.
Founded in 2018 by Chervin Shafaghi, Arnaud Ganzerli, Olivier Lourry, and Abdou Karimi, the studio combines cutting-edge technology with artistic expertise to deliver exceptional visual storytelling.

With a strong team of VFX supervisors, CG artists, and production specialists, Noid has contributed to major projects, including Astérix & Obélix: The Middle Kingdom, The Serpent Queen, and The Substance, which competed at the Cannes Film Festival 2024.
INTIMACY COORDINATOR
DAVID THACKERAY
David is an accomplished Director, Producer, and Intimacy Coordinator with a background in acting, having trained for five years and earned a BA in Acting - Collaborative Devised Theatre from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in partnership with Complicite.
After graduation, he transitioned to directing for stage, with one of his productions transferring to London’s West End, before expanding into film and television, including directing and producing an episode of Amazon Prime’s Silent Eye.

In 2017, David became one of the UK’s first Intimacy Coordinators, integrating his expertise into productions for Netflix, Disney, HBO, BBC, and Sky.
His credits include White Lotus, Star Wars, Heartstopper, Sex Education, The Crown, and Black Doves.
He also authored the BECTU Guidelines for Intimacy Coordination, setting industry standards in the UK, and frequently collaborates with drama schools to train actors and staff in best practices for on-screen intimacy.
